Contemporary drama from Şaban Ol against backdrop of changing Istanbul

Two childhood friends, Eleni and Roos, both former variety artists, are forced to sell their house in Istanbul's oldest neighbourhood. While they consider their options, they talk about growing old, dementia, euthanasia, sex and men. A number of previously unknown revelations about their shared past slowly come to the surface. A cat and mouse game begins regarding the truth and lies between the two ladies. This new play by Şaban Ol, who also directs the production, is set against the backdrop of the ethnic conflicts between the Greeks and Turks in Istanbul fifty years previously, when many Greeks fled the city.
